On Monday, January 28, 2008, at 1:10 a.m., the culprits gained entry into Dynasty Spas at 6119 Centre St. S. Entry was gained by scaling exterior equipment and then smashing a window. Using a large truck, the culprits then gained entry to the garage and stole five hot tubs and covers.

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance in identifying dozens of stolen body piercings recovered during a drug warrant in the southeast. On Monday, February 11, 2008, police entered a basement suite in the 2500 block of 10 Avenue S.E., where they discovered a large number of tongue, naval, ear, and nose rings. Through December 2007 and early January 2008, thieves have targeted show homes in the far south end of the city. The new communities of Silverado and Cranston have been especially hard hit. Once the culprits gain entry to the show home, they are removing high-end flat screen televisions. In at least one of the break and enters, a newer model four-door silver car, similar to a Dodge Neon, was used. The witness believed the vehicle had an Alberta Veterans license plate starting with the letter ‘V’. One of the two suspects is described as a Caucasian man, 25 to 30-years-old, clean shaven, 6’ feet tall, 190- 200 lbs, with very short blond to light brown hair, wearing blue jeans and a grey bomber-style jacket. This man carried the TV to the vehicle and loaded it while the other suspect drove the car away from the scene.
