Over the past week there have been several incidents of theft from vehicles reported in the North West community of Edgemont, primarily in the Edenwold area. Culprit(s) are targeting valuables left inside both locked and unlocked vehicles. In one incident, a garage door opener was removed and the attached garage was entered. Laptops, Ipods, sunglasses, and money were stolen from the vehicles.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at approximately 1 p.m., culprit(s) removed a Gravly snow removal sweeper owned by Cal-Green Landscaping from a site located at 7205 4 St. N.E. The sweeper was removed from a walkway while the crew was removing snow from the complex.
