Sometime between 6 p.m., on Thursday, May 16, 2013, and 6 a.m., on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, unknown culprit(s) broke into the Calgary Parks compound at 2525 Eversyde Ave S.W. by cutting holes in the chain link fence.  Once inside, the culprit(s) damaged two parked vehicles and entered two storage sheds by damaging the doors and locks.  The culprit(s) then stole seven Stihl trimmers, four Stihl leaf blowers, and four Toro self-propelled lawn mowers. The maintenance equipment is valued at approximately $12,800.

Sometime between 12:30 and 6:30 a.m., on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, unknown culprit(s) removed the rims and tires off of a 2011 black Ford F-350 while it was parked at a residence in the 5500 block of Dalwood Way N.W.  The culprit(s) then entered two sheds on the property by cutting off the locks, and stole four sets of tires with rims and three loose tires. The tires and rims are valued at approximately $26,900.

Sometime between 5 p.m., on Friday, May 3, 2013, and 8:45 a.m., on Sunday, May 5, 2013, unknown culprit(s) stole a 2003 single cab Freightliner truck with an attached transport trailer, belonging to Coca Cola Refreshments Ltd., while it was parked in the yard of a distribution warehouse in the 3800 block of 23 Street N.E. The trailer contained 607 cases of pop valued at approximately $15,000.

The truck and trailer were later recovered in the Foothills industrial area however all of the Coca Cola products were missing.

Sometime between 6 p.m., on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, and 7 a.m., on Thursday, April 25, 2013, unknown culprit(s) entered the fenced compound of Tarpon Energy Services, 7020 81 St. S.E., by tampering with the gate. Once inside, suspect(s) removed 70 meters of heavy duty copper wire valued at approximately $11,000.

On Thursday, April 11, 2013, at approximately 4:30 a.m., two men broke into Pumps and Pressures Inc. at 5200 64 Ave. S.E., by smashing the front glass door. Once inside, three pressure washers worth approximately $6,000 were stolen.

The offenders were seen loading the pressure washers into a white pick-up truck.

The first suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black windbreaker with fluorescent stripes and white shoes.

The second suspect was wearing black track pants with a white stripe down the side and a black and blue, plaid jacket.

On Saturday, April 20, 2013, at approximately 1:45 a.m., unknown culprit(s) broke into Home Outfitters at 8888 Country Hills Blvd. N.W., by smashing the glass doors. Once inside, numerous Lagostina pots and pans were stolen.

Culprit(s) also attempted to break into a nearby London Drugs but were unsuccessful.

Sometime between 7 p.m., on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, and 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, unknown offender(s) broke into a new home under construction on Everglen Rise S.W. Once inside, approximately $1,000 in tools were taken. In addition, offender(s) damaged drywall, kitchen cabinets, door fixtures, interior doors and a toilet causing approximately $5,000 in damages.

This is the third incident in the past week at the same residence. In both of these cases, a large quantity of tools and appliances were stolen.

Once inside, approximately $11,000 worth of 15-15 LC stainless steel (see picture above) was removed.

Sometime between 5 p.m., on Friday, March 22, 2013, and 8 a.m., on Saturday, March 23, 2013, unknown suspect(s) gained access into LMS Reinforcing Steel Ltd. at 387 Exploration Ave. S.E., by breaking the lock on the gate. The suspect(s) then entered the yard and stole a Freightliner truck tractor, a flat deck trailer and 400,000 lbs. of steel, leaving behind stolen vehicles brought with them to the scene.

Police believe that the suspects returned to the yard multiple times that evening and each time removed a trailer loaded with steel. 

The stolen steel is valued at approximately $148,000.

Ltd., valued at approximately $50,000.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., on Saturday, March 10, 2013, unknown male suspect(s) gained access into Plusma Eyewear, 1111 6 Ave. S.W., by smashing the window in the front door.  Once inside, the suspect(s) removed approximately 90 pairs of eyeglass frames valued at $13,000.  

The offender, described as 6’ tall with a slim build, wearing a hoodie and jeans, was seen entering the passenger side of a white older model Nissan Pathfinder and then fleeing the area.
