On Friday, April 4, 2014, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., unknown culprit(s) entered the St. Jean Brebeuf junior high school located at 5030 Northland Dr. N.W., which was still open to staff members of the school. Once inside, the culprit(s) broke into five rooms by forcing the doors and stole approximately $29,000 worth of equipment, comprising of 11 Toshiba laptops, five Samsung chrome books, one leather briefcase, a digital camera, and a jar of change.

1. Stolen hockey cards.

Sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, and 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014, unknown offender(s) broke into Collectors Books and Cards at 7220A Fairmount Dr. S.E., by smashing the front glass door. Once inside, culprits removed several boxes of hockey cards valued at approximately $10,000.

1. Residential Break In. 

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, unknown culprit(s) broke into the residence located in the 100 block of Canata Cl. S.W. by kicking out a panel of the front door. 

Once inside the residence, the culprit(s) rummage through the kitchen and master bedroom. A name-brand handbag was taken from the kitchen and various watches and jewelry taken from the master bedroom valuing over $25,000. 

The items pictured above were taken from the residence and described as follows:  
1. One Men’s Breitling chronograph cockpit automatic watch with stainless steel case and bracelet, rule dial with silver sub-dials, Roman numeral hour markers, date window, and a sapphire crystal. 
2. One Men’s Breitling chronograph superocean automatic watch, with stainless steel case and bracelet, black dial with silver sub-dials, day/date window and a sapphire crystal. 
3. One Men’s Breitling superocean heritage 46 automatic watch, with a stainless steel case and bracelet, black dial with a date window, black bezel and a sapphire crystal. 
4. One Men’s Ulysse Nardin marine 41mm automatic watch, with a stainless steel case and bracelet, white dial with silver sub-dials, black Arabic hour markers and a sapphire crystal. 
5. One pair of lady's white gold diamond earrings, stamped "18k".

1. Stolen Bobcat

Sometime between 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, and 6:30 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014, unknown culprit(s) entered a locked construction site located at 620 - 46 Ave N.E., by unknown means.  Once on site, the culprit(s) gained entry into a locked CASE Bobcat and used a universal key to start the machine.  The Bobcat was then used to break the lock off the main entry gate, allowing the culprits to exit the compound. The Bobcat was driven onto 46 Avenue N.E., loaded onto a trailer and then driven away. 

The value of the Bobcat is estimated to be $35,000.00.

On Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at approximately 12:20 a.m. and unknown culprit gained access into Studio 54 Hair, at 5102 Rundlehorn Dr. N.E., by smashing the front window. Once inside, culprit(s) removed a large quantity of shampoo products valued at approximately $1,000.

On Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at approximately 11 p.m. and unknown culprit gained access into Calgary PC Medic at 4515 Macleod Tr. S., by removing the lock on the front door. Once inside, culprit(s) pried open a cabinet and removed computer processors, external hard drives and 11 laptop computers all valued at approximately $7,600.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, unknown culprit(s) entered the property of Asteroid Auto Parts at 7515 40 St. N.E. S.E., by cutting the chain off the main front gate.  Once inside, culprit(s) cut the lock off a C-can, and removed 120 catalytic converters valued at approximately $20,000.

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance as they investigate the theft of propane.

Between mid-December 2013 and mid-January, up to 60, 20-pound canisters of propane were taken from a storage area in southeast Calgary.

It is unclear if the propane tanks were taken all at once or over a period of time.

The theft was recently discovered by employees, and reported to police.

At this point, the intended use of the stolen propane tanks is unknown. It is also not known whether they remain in Calgary or have been transported elsewhere.

The theft of a large quantity of a flammable commodity has led to concerns about where the material is being stored and how it is being transported.

The investigation continues, and officers are working closely with the business.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at 5 a.m. an unknown suspect used cutting tools to remove a section of temporary TELUS telecommunications cable from the South West corner of 52 Street and 90 Avenue S.E. 

The suspects loaded the cable into a dark-coloured Ford F250 or F350 and fled the scene. 

It is believed three individuals were involved in the theft. One of them was wearing a reflective vest.

Between Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, Jan.16, 2014, at 4:30 p.m. unknown suspects gained entry into a 2007 Dodge Caravan parked in the 2700 block of 17A street N.W. through the passenger window. 

Once inside the vehicle the culprits removed over $6,000.00 worth of DJ equipment. Stolen items include but are not limited to: an HP computer tower and key board, a light stand, black lights; a Yorkville amplifier, speaker stand and a number of microphones.
