1.
 
The Calgary Police Service is investigating three robberies all believed to have been committed by the same offender.
 
The first occurred on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at approximately 7:30 p.m., near the intersection of Berkshire Place and Berkshire Road N.W. A man was walking on a foot path in the area when a man armed with a gun approached him. The offender searched the victim for personal belongings, and fled empty handed.
 
The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 30 years old, 5’11” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing dark-coloured jeans, a black jacket and had his faced concealed during the robbery.
 
The second incident occurred approximately one hour later in the 400 block of 64 Avenue N.W. In this case, the victim was standing at a bus stop when the offender approached and brandished a gun. The offender took the victims iPod and fled the scene in a dark-coloured van.
 
The suspect is described as approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5’11” tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-coloured toque, a dark, waist-length jacket and dark-coloured jeans.
 
The third robbery occurred on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at approximately 7:25 p.m. A woman was walking in the 900 block of Bermuda Drive N.W. when a man approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground. The offender stole the woman’s purse and indicated that he was armed during the robbery.
 
The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 30 to 40 years old, 5’10” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black winter coat, a black toque and jeans.

On Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a man entered the Petro Canada gas station located at 1920 4 St. S.W. and proceeded directly to the back of the store where he removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a cabinet.
 
The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, approximately 35 to 40 years old, 6’ tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt, a black jacket and blue jeans.

On Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at approximately 4 a.m., a man robbed the Petro Canada located at 8338 18 St. S.E. The offender entered the store armed with a baton and threatened a store clerk for money. Once provided with an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the store.
 
The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 25 to 35 years old, 5’5” tall, with a slim build. He had a day’s growth of facial hair and black and white hair. He was wearing a dark grey jacket, a grey hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at approximately 12:20 a.m., a man was approached by two males while standing at a bus stop near Centre Street and 78 Avenue N.E. One of the men approached the victim and punched him, causing him to fall to the ground. While on the ground, both offenders continued to physically assault him. They then stole some of the victim’s personal belongings and fled the scene in a silver, 1990-model, four-door car.
 
The first suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5’8” tall, with a slim build. He was clean shaven, had a bald head and was wearing a white striped hoodie and blue jeans.
 
The second suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 6’1” tall, with a slim build. He was clean shaven and had brown hair combed forward. He was also wearing a black windbreaker jacket.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, between 7:20 and 7:50 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered a hotel in the 300 block of 4 Avenue S.W. Once inside, the suspect(s) attempted to enter several hotels rooms by prying the doors. No entry was gained, and the suspect(s) fled the area.

Sometime between 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, and 7:15 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, suspect(s) broke into a school bus that was parked in the 0-100 block of Deerpoint Road S.E. Once inside the bus, a fire extinguisher was discharged on the bus seats. The front windshield was also smashed.

Sometime overnight between Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, and Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, vandals struck in the southeast communities of Midnapore and Sundance.
 
Vehicles parked in alleys, fences and garage doors were spray-painted with profanities and racial slurs.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at approximately 10 p.m., two men robbed Peters Drive-In located at 217 16 Ave. N.E. The men walked up to the drive-in window and climbed inside the kitchen area. Once inside, they threatened employees and discharged pepper spray. A female employee was pushed to the ground and directly sprayed with pepper spray.
 
The offenders removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the till and fled the area.
 
The first suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’11” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a white hoodie, jeans, white shoes, and a white bandana covering his face.
 
The second suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black track pants, white shoes and a dark-coloured baseball hat.
