About Us
Volunteers

The Calgary Crime Stoppers Association has volunteer opportunities for enthusiastic individuals interested in making a difference in their community. Volunteers are utilized throughout the year in the areas of public awareness and fundraising.

We have volunteer opportunities with varying time commitments throughout the year.

Special Events

As a member of our team of volunteers you will be helping raise funds in support of Crime Stoppers. Presently we are committed annually to a golf tournament in August and a charity casino every 18 months.

Awareness and Education

One of the primary functions of our team of volunteers is to raise the level of awareness of Crime Stoppers throughout Calgary and the surrounding area we serve. We attend trade shows and community events in an effort to provide information about Crime Stoppers and how it works.

How much time is required?

Our volunteer opportunities take place all year round. We can offer both short and long-term volunteer opportunities in the area of volunteer management, newsletter production, membership management and public awareness. You must be 18 years or older to apply. Each volunteer applicant will be asked to provide a resume outlining your skills and volunteer experience. All our volunteers will be subject to a criminal record check.

What you can expect?

As part of our Crime Stoppers volunteer team you can take pride in helping the Crime Stoppers program make a difference in your community. Crime Stoppers is a publicly funded and managed organization that relies on volunteers like you to make things happen.
