BOARD OF DIRECTORS

A volunteer Board of Directors actively administers and is responsible for the program. The Calgary Crime Stoppers Association is a registered charitable organization and is responsible for raising funds, public awareness and the disbursements of rewards. The Board of Directors works closely with local law enforcement agencies and the media. 

The board of directors of the Calgary Crime Stoppers Association is solely responsible for the overall operation of the program. The board's main function is to ensure the program is being operated according to the established business practices of Crime Stoppers. Fund raising and public awareness are also key functions.
